They rehearse with the Director of Music 30 minutes before the Mass. Individuals who read music and have a nice voice, interested in serving as cantors are invited to contact our Director of Sacred Music.
THE ORGAN
The organ in Immaculate Conception Church is one of the largest and most versatile organs in Springfield. The 21-rank Schantz pipe organ was installed in 1981. In 2022, the church installed a Rodgers Hybrid digital organ of three manuals and pedalboard with the capability of duplicating literally hundreds of ranks of pipes. The digital organ is married to the existing pipe organ.
